Today we went to Mud Island and we went on the Memphis Queen Paddle boat on the Mississippi River. It was an hour and a half guided tour and we all enjoyed it. The girls had a blast running around the boat and Scott and I enjoyed the sights. The skyline is pretty awesome with the bridges and the pyramid in the view. The weather is still extreme with a high humidity levels, but the boat was cool and had an AC unit. We really couldn't hear too much of what the guy, Mr Memphis was saying but we still had a great time. They had drinks and snacks on board too.
The kids enjoyed mud island too. They had a replica of the Mississippi river on the ground, a mini version of if course... The girls walked right through it. Addison decided to sit down in the water so she was pretty wet. I made a quick stop in the gift shop and when I came out, I see that little Charlie Mae is soaking wet! She decided to just jump right into the fountain at the end if the river! Then she refused to let me change her clothes and walked around the rest of the day with wet clothes on...
